“Catherine Ross graduated from Painting, Gray’s School of Art, 2014. She was born in Yellowknife, Canada, but raised in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Her work is made up of paintings and models which relate to her own experiences and ideas to do with ‘North’. After a very successful Degree Show at Gray’s School of Art Catherine’s paintings were exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy New Contemporaries 2015 in Edinburgh. She was awarded the David and June Gordon Memorial Trust Prize for an artist born or studying in the Grampian region.”
